These photos were taken during the ACSU meeting regarding the black face incident that occurred during the Colorado State University fall 2019 school semester. Several students posed with full black facemasks referencing black culture in a display of black face on Snapchat. All the students in the photo faced no educational or legal repercussions. The ASCU held a meeting where both students from CSU and around Northern Colorado gathered to detail the reasons behind the importance of defining hate speech and free speech. Here are the photos of the meeting showing both an altercation between two students as well as, Joyce McConnell, the president of the university on her phone ignoring student testimony.
